The first and foremost purpose of concealed carry is to protect us from our own government.

We have seen in history time and time again when a great power was taken over by a dictator.

It is extremely proud and ignorant of any in the US to think that we are above the possibility of a dictatorship. Our vast amounts of wealth and power do not make us invincible to tyranny. In fact, they make us more susceptible.
Hitler was not the only dictator to believe that disarming the public was of utmost necessity. “The people…are strictly forbidden to have in their possession any swords, short swords, bows, spears, firearms, or other types of arms. The possession of unnecessary implements makes difficult the collection of taxes and dues and tends to foment uprisings.” Toyotomi Hideyoshi, dictator of Japan, Aug. 1588.
The second purpose of concealed carry is to provide us with the ability to protect ourselves from criminals. The bad guys will always have access to guns. Our limiting ourselves only gives criminals the upper hand.

Statistics prove that there is a drastic decrease of violent crimes in every state that has legalized concealed carry. What about the parents and children who will be forever scarred over the massacre at Columbine high school? How many of those parents do you think wish those teachers had concealed carry?

The thought of disarmament of the public leading to less crime has the same ironic stupidity of no gun zones. The only people who will respect the policies of no gun zones are upstanding citizens, leaving the door wide open to criminal activity.
I digress --. To go back to the first reason for the right to keep and bear arms according to the founding fathers: protection from the government.
“Men trained in arms from their infancy, and animated by the love of liberty, will afford neither a cheap or easy conquest” from the Declaration of the Continental Congress, July 1775.
"To disarm the people... was the best and most effectual way to enslave them” George Mason, speech of June 14, 1788.

Say Goodbye to Freedom, And Hello to Healthcare

Who wouldn’t want to make everybody healthy and happy? Those selfish, rotten, healthcare opposing conservatives! All the Obama administration wants is sunshine, flowers, bunnies and healthy people to enjoy this Obamatopia!

According to last weekends New York Times every part of this new bill will redistribute wealth. Proving that the progressives were lying through their teeth about the bill not being socialistic.

It never ceases to astound me the ability of the progressives to name anyone that disagrees with them so easily. Those that stand against them are racist, greedy, and evil 24/7 no questions asked.

I digress.

Under the ruse of “lets make everybody healthy” the left has snuck under the radar.

The United States is creating a healthcare system similar to that of Canada or Great Britten. Oh wonderful Britten, you are our bastion of hope; you show how wonderful government provided health care can be! Yes, Great Britten where just this last week a dying patient was refused a glass of water.

Not to astound any liberals who mustered up the courage to read my column, but Conservatives are much less concerned with the “health” part of the bill than all the other stuff that came with this bill so big that it makes War and Peace look like a comic book.

For example:
The bill will provide insurance to all non-U.S. residents, even if they are here illegally. Page 50/section 152 (Can anyone guess who gets to pay for this insurance?)

Cancer hospital will ration care according to the patient's age. Page 272. section 1145 (eugenics anyone?...and as this healthcare system gets deeper into the red, as every other one has, how low will that age get?)

The government mandates advance-care planning consultations. Those on Social Security will be *required* to attend an "end-of-life planning" seminar every five years. Page 425, line 4-12 (Death counseling.)

The government will have real-time access to an individual's bank account and will have the authority to make electronic fund transfers from those accounts. Page 58 and 59

I ponder how a bill that was supposed to be entirely for the people had so much opposition from the people. Between 60-75% of Americans did not want the bill to pass. Speaker Pelosi swore that the bill would be passed no matter what it took.

Pelosi should just say what she really means; “The end justifies the means.”

But most infuriating of all is the fact that all congress members are exempt from the bill. Each congress person that swore this was a bill for the people gets their own private care.

Well America, say goodbye to freedom, and hello to socialism…er, um… I mean “Healthcare…oh, and bunnies”

Underwear Bombers and Guantanamo

From the beginning of this administration, people have been comparing Bush to Obama in about every way possible. One of, if not the most important issues to compare would be national security.

One of the main differences between the two would be the deadline set by Obama to shut down Guantanamo Bay.

Unfortunately for Obama, this closing of Guantanamo is yet another thing he fails to do on time, if at all.

The Obama administration is beginning to see that shutting down Guantanamo might not be as easy as…well one of Obama’s various other accomplishments such as….um….er…oh, speeches on how he is going to fix everything.
As Christopher Boucek wrote in his article “Guantanamo's Impact on U.S. National Security”, Obama is facing “ongoing problems finding countries willing to accept detainees.” This apparently came as a surprise to the Obama administration. Who wouldn’t want to welcome a bunch of trained murderers onto there soil?
The current administration is looking at transferring the detainees to a different location. The new location would be the Thompson correctional facility in Illinois.
We would not be solving any problems; we would be merely transferring Guantanamo to a different location. We would be moving these terrorists, who nobody else wants, to the heart of the US. Unless the Obama administration is looking for a real life sequel to “Escape from New York”, this seems like a really bad idea.
Another issue Obama faces with closing Guantanamo would be the most recent terrorist attack or Christmas day underwear bomber. The Obama administration seems surprised that terrorists are sill plugging away at our super secure airlines when we offered to shut down Guantanamo.
Is it possible that terrorist leaders such as Ben laden crossed their fingers and prayed to Allah that we would really shut down Guantanamo by Jan 22? Could it be that this warm fuzzy gesture from us did not illicit in them a desire to cuddle and make up? Is it possible that terrorists believe that the US is turning into a bunch of white flag waving, bowing, patsies?
With deterrents such as suffering in Guantanamo bay if you attempt to blow up a US plane gone, of course terrorist activity is encouraged. Now if terrorists are caught with there pants down they will be simply shipped of to Illinois.
Perhaps we could all give President Bush a little credit for his National Security policies. At least the leaders of the United States did not look like a bunch of little girls during Bush’s presidency. Bush went after the terrorists. The Obama administration tells terrorists that we will make their living conditions more pleasant if they are caught. Bush gave terrorists incentives to never ever get caught, to quit, and even to never start.
As Teddy Roosevelt commented, “speak softly but carry a big stick.” Unfortunately, all the Obama administration seems capable of doing is speaking softly and bending over.

Taleban and Hitler

I had to write something on this, its just to moronic.

As a history major at UCCS co springs, I have studied many civilizations who have attempted to "pay off" the bad guys.

Without fail, the once weaker and disorganized enemy will want a little more money than the provider is willing to offer. Strengthened from all of the "please don't attack us! Here take our money!" The once lesser party rises up and completely takes over and destroys the other.

This is seen as far back in history as Rome.
Rome wished to pay off attacking tribes.
They gave them a certain amount of money to stay away.
Eventually the tribes got greedy and totally ransacked Rome.

This process is also seen with piracy.

A simmilar story is also told in WWII and Adolf Hitler.
The Alies were slow to get involved.
Why?
Because we thought he would stay true to his word.
Just one more piece of land.

Pandora’s Box

The Obama administration has decided to cut the pay of some of the firms receiving government aid, such as the car companies. Some will suffer as much as a 90% pay cut.

Who gave the government a right to enforce pay cuts onto private businesses? The answer? Private companies signed their souls away when they accepted the government bailouts.

Is this constitutional?
No, absolutely not.
Can the private companies do anything about it?
Nope.
Unfortunately, receiving the government aid in the first place wasn’t constitutional either. These private companies can hardly bring up the constitution now just because the government involvement is not to not their best interest.

Having just escaped the tyranny of Great Britain, the founding fathers single intent was to limit the amount of power that the government could enforce on the people. The founders wanted most of the power to belong to the states. As an even greater measure, before the states would ratify the US constitution, they insisted on a bill of rights otherwise known as the first ten amendments.

As the tenth amendment states, “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.” This simply means that any action the federal government performs that is not expressly allowed in the constitution is unconstitutional.

The power of interfering in private companies is never expressly “delegated,” to the federal government, in fact it is forbidden at every turn.

Unfortunately, the constitution does not seem to have much value to the powers that be. They feel free to interpret it to whichever way best advantages them. The congress seems to think that the constitution is a joke. Congress seems to believe that it is there sole job to weasel there unconstitutional, erroneous fallacies past the Supreme Court.

This is how the government usually gets entangled with a once private business. The government offers something to the private organization. Once the private entity accepts the governmental boon, the organization is no longer private; the government can interfere whenever they feel like it.

Unfortunately, these drastic pay cuts are just a drop in the bucket compared to the funds the economy needs. Perhaps if the Obama administration would quit interfering with private entities, we could watch capitalism work as it always does to get us out of a tough spot. Either that, or Obama could ease up on taking his wife out on fifty thousand dollar dates.

Whatever works.

Smells like Socialism

Why is increasing the federal government’s power thought to posses the ability to cure most problems within the US?

People seem to believe that the ‘godlike’ government will do a better job doing their jobs than they will, seems more like a shifting of responsibilities. We don’t want to get our hands dirty so we pass the work on to the federal government. The federal government accepts only too eagerly, creates a department with a fancy name and ups the taxes to pay for this new bureaucratic waist.

Increasing Bureaucracy is the Governments ‘cure all.’ Today, the government is hard at work increasing its power in arias such as health reform, government bailouts and taxes.

Government run organizations have such a great track record its no wander that the liberal party wants to enlarge the already obese bureaucracy! Wait a second…

Let’s look at the Department of Energy. A typical government bureaucratic pigeonhole, established during the Carter Administration. The Department of Energy was established to, “lessen our dependence on foreign oil.” Its been pretty darn efficient, huh?

It’s 2009 – 32 years later – and the budget for this “necessary” (cough, cough)
department is at $24.2 BILLION a year. They have 16,000 federal employees and
approximately 100,000 contract employees. And look at the job they have done!

Why? We hardly use any foreign oil at all right ? uh...NOT
Good ole bureaucracy - just made everything way, way worse

The more power relinquished to the federal government, the less power the average citizen has and the more we must trust our mommy the federal government. If President Obama really wants to make us “even” he will enlarge the reach of government, something he is already hard at work doing.

Unfortunately, once the government interferes one time they feel free to do it again, and again, and again…

A great example would be the government bailouts issued by Obama. Now that the economy is still suffering, Obama’s regime is forcing these businesses to take large pay cuts. What’s going to keep the federal government from deciding that they would do a better job and taking over the car companies completely?

We all know that once the Federal government takes something over its way better off than a free market business, right?

Like the Post office compared to UPS.
Or the DMV compared to an independent driving company.
Seeing how wonderful these function, let’s go ahead and give over the banking system, healthcare, and the auto industry to the all wise government.

Sounds like a plan!

Die quickly

Representative Alan Grayson announced in congress last week that, “The republican health care plan is for the sick to die quickly.”

So what?
Sure Alan Grayson addressed congress with inflammatory words, but this is nothing new to congress. Congress members have been screaming at each other since the beginning.

Instead, let’s ask ourselves the following questions. Is there any truth to Grayson’s words? And what is Grayson’s agenda?

Grayson is clearly attempting to bolster Obama’s healthcare plan while tearing at the Republican’s views. Grayson attempts to present the “Republican heath care plan” by using the classical liberal game plan of no facts and plenty of emotion. He presents three points on a large sheet of paper. They are as follows: “The republican health care plan is 1)Don’t get sick 2)If you get sick 3)Die quickly.”

Grayson is extremely correct with his first point. Republicans would appreciate if American’s could just not get sick. That’s why these darn Republicans keep pushing free market capitalism, and an environment where whoever develops the best cures gets the most recognition. The people with the best technology and surgical equipment get paid the most and get to keep coming up with stuff that will accomplish not “getting sick.”
(Does point one imply that the liberal party wants people to get sick?)

Grayson is also correct in his second point. Yes, Republicans do realize that people will get sick. (Although we wouldn’t mind if Grayson would give a demonstration... say permanent laryngitis?)

Point three, however, is completely incorrect.*
(There may be few potential exceptions)

It can be safely assumed that Grayson is referring to the Republican’s no governmental aid stance for his bright conclusion of “republicans want sick people to die quickly.”

In short Grayson is implying that republicans are Scrooges who sneer at the little boy on crutches.

The leftist stance on the matter (im assuming) would be considered, “wanting the sick to throw down their crutches and leap around in the field of daisies while What a Wonderful World plays in the back ground.

Unfortunately its not this simple.

I don’t know who convinced the American people that government is this wonderful fairy godmother here to take care of our ills and woes. Whoever it is he deserves treatment three. What makes us think that government health insurance will be anymore “honest” that private health care insurance? Obama says that government insurance is going to keep the private health care insurance in check. Who is going to keep government in check? Oh, wait I forgot it’s the health care of the people…never mind, we’re good.

Government run health insurance is sure to have the compassion of the IRS, the efficiency of the post office, and the heavenly atmosphere of the DMV.

As Ronald Regan stated, “Government is not a solution to our problem, government is the problem.” Government is not going to solve the heath care issues of the poor. The government is not even going to help. It is incapable.

This is an inverse relationship.
The more power we give the US government the less power we have.

The less power the American people have the less free we are.

The skate border
This dude seems to think that he continually possesses the right of way. He will go weaving through the crowd between COB and Sci at lighting speed. Don’t change speeds or attempt to move or you will be ran over and blamed for the wreckage.

Jock girl???
Judging from apparel, 80% of UCCS female students are jocks. Judging from body builds, 40% of female students are jocks. So 40% must think they look really hot in those baggy sweats and stupid head bands??? (NOTE: you don’t)

He wares his sunglasses inside
This dude thinks he looks really hot in his sun glasses. After practicing in front of his mirror, he walks to class, and waits till he is on the top floor at the last class at the end of the dark hall to whip of his shades. (NOTE: though somewhat amusing, not that hot, sorry)

Professor suffering from ADD
He goes from talking about cumulous clouds, to his wife who thought that a cloud looked like a baby, to his daughter who is about to have a baby, and her husband who is in Afghanistan, to why Bush is evil, all in one class. You never really learned anything about cumulous clouds. (NOTE: good nap class.)

The Classroom irritant
Simply a normal part of class such as a white board or computer, a classroom irritant is a must have. He is compelled to ask the dumbest yet most amusing questions. He is completely oblivious to how everyone in the class is snickering at him. Once in a while an irritant will attempt to correct the teacher (this is especially amusing). Best of all is watching the professor attempt to not see the irritant waving his hand back and forth.
(NOTE: shut the heck up.)

The gazer
She doesn’t want you to rush ahead and help her with the door. She wants the door closed and the lighting just right so she can perform a quick make up, hair check before she gets into COB. (NOTE: I am pretty sure there are mirrors in the bathroom.)

The pseudo UFC fighter
Is one of the geekiest guys in school with these little skinny arms. He thinks for some reason that if he drapes that huge MMA shirt over his skimpy stature it will some how magically make him a bad ass. (NOTE: we all think you are a douche.)

The know it all
Sits in front of you with his/her laptop and types a paragraph for every word the teacher says. (NOTE: you are freaking annoying)

The Gamer
He has a difficult time separating his real life from his online alias. This is the guy who brings his laptop to class to play Call of Duty4, World of War Craft, and Halo. (NOTE: be prepared for analogies featuring trench warfare or master chief.)

The Fast and Furious car owner
Whether the car is actually a sports car or not is irrelevant. It all comes down to decals, body kits, paint jobs, and sound systems. The car owners with the pimped out cars think that their rides are better than everyone else’s. (NOTE: they are)

Robbing Hood and the dwarfs

Today boys and girls, we will be taking a little quiz to see how many of President Barack Hussein Obama’s (Oh I’m sorry, forgot we’re not allowed to use his middle name)…Ahem, President Barack Hussein Obama’s dwarfs or advisors you can name.

Which dwarf said the following? “Doctors take the Hippocratic Oath too seriously, as an imperative to do everything for the patient regardless of the cost or effects on others."(Journal of the American Medical Association, on June 18, 2008) Which dwarf would that be? None other than Doc., Obama’s current health-policy adviser, Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel.

Anyone know which dwarf, seems to have an unfortunate issue with words? On Aug. 23, this dwarf or Dopey called Obama "Barack America." Later he referred to Palin as the, “lieutenant governor of Alaska.” On June 2006, Dopey commented, "You cannot go to a 7-Eleven or a Dunkin' Donuts unless you have a slight Indian accent. I'm not joking." And last but not least in January 2007 he commented of his running mate "I mean, you got the first mainstream African American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy," Dopey said. "I mean, that's a storybook, man." And who is Dopey? 10 pts if you guessed Joe Biden.
The fourth dwarf Sleepy seems to be suffering from amnesia. Sleepy clamed to know nothing of “advanced interrogation techniques.” Then the CIA came out telling America that Sleepy was fully informed on all interrogation techniques such as water boarding. Anybody guess Nancy Pelosi, the Speaker of the House???
Which self-proclaimed communist ex-dwarf spent some time in a music studio? He and others (such as cop killer Mumia abu-Jamal.) conglomerated to come up with an album by the name of War Times. One line from the album states, “The United States; a piece of stolen land led by right-wing, war-hungry, oil thirsty… The true terrorists are made in the U.S.” Can anybody guess this sleazy dwarfs name? The answer is…Obama’s ex-Green czar, Van Jones.
The fifth dwarf Happy, manages to keep this plastic smile on his face against all odds. When Obama called Cambridge police department, “stupid,” or when Happy was asked if the resignation of Van Jones was seen as necessary to Obama, Happy just smiled big and went on to say how great Obama is(…wait I think I missed a step.) Happy doesn’t listen to the question asked he just waits for a break to praise Obama. Anybody guess White House press secretary, Robert L. Gibbs??? If so give yourself another 10pts.

The head honcho of these dwarfs is a tall man, though sometimes that's hard to see when he is bowing to Muslim dictators. As in the fairy book Robbing Hood, Robbing Obama seems set on, “spreading the wealth.” Unfortunately to only those people he likes. Right after he told us he had visited 57 states he said, "I think when you spread the wealth around, it's good for everybody." This is pretty much the same way bank robbers justify their actions. They never consider that what they steal might be purposed to help others by it's rightful owners.

If you got between 50-20 points…Wow, you know more about Obama’s Advisors than most Americans.

But if you got between 10-0 points don’t feel bad you’re just another victim of the Leftist biased media.

What is a Conservative?

Regardless to which political party you subscribe, it is essential that you understand what both parties stand for. How can you argue your point if you don’t recognize the other sides views?

Conserve simply means to hold back or “to use or manage wisely; preserve; save.” (dictionary.com) A conservative is simply one who wishes to save core values, morals, and human rights.

The United States Constitution is of great value to the conservative. Conservatives or the right, believe that the US constitution should not be interpreted. The right believes that we should take the constitution to mean exactly what the founding fathers meant when they wrote it.

More importantly, the Right believes that the constitution is not meant to evolve. The founding fathers realized that society would change and therefore its problems would change; that’s why the founders provided for amendments.

The idea of the constitution being a living document is just a seductive way to allow perversion to it. The constitution should be read exactly how the men writing it wished it to be interpreted.

Our country is founded on the constitution. If we let the constitution ‘live,’ we are prepping for anarchy, oligarchy, or tyranny. Bending the rules is a terrific first step in losing our freedom.

Many conservatives are concerned that the Federal government is using the excuse of an ‘evolving’ constitution to increase in influence and to increase taxes.

As Ronald Reagan stated, “The federal government has taken too much tax money from the people, too much authority from the states, and too much liberty with the Constitution.”

All the fundamental points conservatives follow pivot on preserving what the founding fathers intended, gun rights, property rights, low taxes, and less governmental support.

One of, if not the most important concern of conservatives lies in limiting government control.

Just escaping the smothering control of England, The founding fathers took extra precaution when writing the constitution. Their number one goal was to avoid excessive government control.

As Tomas Jefferson commented, "Most bad government has grown out of too much government." Jefferson also stated, “The policy of the American government is to leave their citizens free, neither restraining nor aiding them in their pursuits.”

Founding father Thomas Paine commented, “If…we look at those which are in an advanced stage of improvement, we still find the greedy hand of government thrusting itself into every corner and crevice of industry, and grasping the spoil of the multitude.”

Benjamin Franklin wrote "The Constitution only guarantees the American people the right to pursue happiness. You have to catch it yourself."

This last quote from Franklin sums up conservative views nicely. The purpose of the constitution is to open a door so that the average citizen may “pursue happiness.” Not so the federal government can hand out a placebo pill of ‘happiness’. Unfortunately, the Government attempt make everyone happy will only result in misery and loss of freedom.

Whether or not you “catch” happiness is up to you.

Free Health Care and Never Never Land

Free health care for everyone! Now doesn’t that sound nice? Free health care would put everyone on an even playing field. Each person would possess the freedom to receive care. Unfortunately, as is with freedom, health care is not free.
“So what’s the hitch?” you might ask. Health care, like the abominable snowman, might sound plausible until you become a lonely, bearded straggler who freezes to death in his search for the Yeti. The unfortunate truth is that the government pays for the health care by taxing its citizens. The system usually works by taxing the rich greater amounts and the poor (excuse me...less fortunate) lower amounts. As stated above, the central idea of free health care seems to be fairness for all. Unfortunately, the system automatically trumps its self. The rich are left to pay for everyone else’s ‘free’ health care. In a perfect world where fairy tales do come true, doctors would work for free, people would pay them whatever they could afford, and Robin Hood would be out of business. Unfortunately for us, this perfect system will never, ever happen. Canada is a perfect example of a ‘free’ healthcare system. According to Canada’s Dr. Anne Doig the succeeding president of the Canadian Medical Association, “We all agree the system is imploding, we all agree that things are more precarious than perhaps Canadians realize.” She went on to say that, “(We) have to understand that the system that we have right now — if it keeps on going without change — is not sustainable.” Of course, not all of Canada’s health care is ‘free’. Veterinary clinics are still operating with good old fashioned capitalism. The injured cats and dogs of Canada are attended to immediately. Why? The answer is simple, business and inventions thrive in a free economy. Capitalism allows for competition between entities. Who ever has the best surgeries, drugs, and equipment will receive the most customers. So while Canada’s people are suffering due to the inefficiency of ‘free’ health care, Canada’s pets are thriving. As the soon to be outgoing president of the Canadian Medical Association, Dr. Robert Ouellet stated, “Competition should be welcomed, not feared.” Unfortunately, many in the United States seem tempted to open this Pandora’s Box of death, hardship, and disease. Americans need to stop attempting to make the government into Santa Clause. There is a fine line between necessary government control and socialist oppression. The United States must wake up; Santa doesn’t exist and nether does free health care.

Noble Activists or Delusional Drama Queens????

When our parents were our age many scientists and politicians were hyperventilating over an imminent catastrophe. We all know the signs of Armageddon by heart; floods, ice age, loss of food and resources, mass destruction, all eventually leading to the end of the world. Is this mass panic necessary? What was causing such hysteria in our parent’s generation?

“Global warming?” you ask.
Nope, this mass pandemonium was caused by...
Global COOLING.

Let’s take a step back.
Lowell Ponte’s article, “the cooling” is a great example of the hysteria spread due to global cooling. He stated, “This cooling has already killed hundreds of thousands of people. If it continues and no strong action is taken, it will cause world famine, world chaos and world war, and this could all come about before the year 2000.”

Today, many scientists and politicians are contemplating the end of the world. According to Professor Sir David King, Britain’s Government’s chief scientist; “Antarctica is likely to be the world's only habitable continent by the end of this century if global warming remains unchecked.” (The Independent, 2 May 2004.) In December 2004, Jennifer Morgan of WWF stated, “Time is running out for nature and wildlife around the world.”

Throughout America’s history we have heard the same message over and over. The same, “we’re all dead…in just a little bit,” story has been simply disguised within a different skin each time; acid rain, global warming, over population, global cooling, oil spills, and the transition into the year 2000. They all carried the same dramatic ‘death’ message.

Why?

Certain people of every generation seem to find it necessary to have an Armageddon within sight. Unfortunately for these excitable activists, Mother Nature seems to be doing a pretty darn good job. While these drama mongers concentrate on using only one sheet, the rest of us pursue important things like living, getting married, having children, holding down a steady job, fighting for our country, and accomplishing our dreams. As James M. Inhofe commented in his speech in the US Senate, July 28, 2003, “With all of the hysteria, all of the fear, all of the phony science, could it be that man-made global warming is the greatest hoax ever perpetrated on the American people? It sure sounds like it.”

The un-dramatic truth of the matter is that global warming and cooling are natural waves that occur in our earths climate. As Professor Richard Lindzen wrote in the 2006 Sunday Times, “The Earth's climate has always shown natural variation … There is nothing to suggest that any warming we are seeing now is not part of that natural cycle.”

Drama does pay for certain government employees (Paris Hilton is in the wrong profession). The more the drama queens worry us, the more they are able to tax us to keep us all from dying, of course, (thank God for big government!). As Kary Mullis, Winner of the 1993 Nobel Prize in Chemistry, commented, “Global warmers predict that global warming is coming and our emissions are to blame. They do that to keep us worried about our role in the whole thing. If we aren't worried and guilty, we might not pay their salaries. It's that simple.”

So the next time you are frightened by the scary monster under your bed, keep in mind that they must spread fear in order to survive, and restrain the urge to strangle them.

Two topics, both so equally intriguing that I couldn't choose one from the other so...

Today boys and girls, we will learn about ambulance chasing news reporters and confused scientists
Scientists and the media have been attempting to pull a fast one on us. They have been telling us (for quite some time now) that frog tadpoles limbs are falling off due to human pollution. Thankfully, a real scientist remembered the "Observe" part of the scientific method. Unlike the others who got stuck at the first step (hypothesis, observation, conclusion). So we come to find that the poor frogs arn't losing limbs to evil men with their evil trucks and their evil free economy and their evil capitalism and their evil gun rights (oh sorry, got a little carried away). No not at all. Well what then?
Nature.
Yep, turns out dragon flies are the culprit.
These poor, defenseless tadpoles were losing limbs to that vicious thing we like to call

Michael Jackson Must Have Been God

So I don't get it.
I mean, I really don't get it.
True, Michael Jackson was a brilliant artist.
Had some of the greatest pop music of all time but...
As soon as Michael Jackson died a number of odd occurrences took place.
1) I received 19 texts telling me that he passed (really wow)
2) I tuned in to my favorite radio station (John, Jay, and Rich) to hear a woman crying no sorry, wailing because Michael Jackson, a man she never really knew, died.
3) I attempted to escape the wailing woman by switching radio stations, but alas, all radio waves were ether taken up by complaining people or something along the lines of "cause this is thriller, thriller night, And no ones gonna save you from the beast about strike"
4) I arrived at work (hoping to take shelter from the Jackson barrage within) where someone actually had enough guts to ask if we all could get off early because Michael Jackson died (what the heck???)

Really???
Are people this desperate?
There was a reason why Jackson was in the news for everything other than his music.
Sorry, but the dude was crazy.

Anyway
- Who bleaches their skin
- Had numerous facial jobs
- Child Molestation Charges
-Wonder if he thought he looked good after his plastic surgeries (ah well, guess will never know)
